1950s RARE Vintage Souvenir Miniature Torah Scroll by Tam Tov Caterers, Brooklyn, NY. This is a unique miniature scroll keepsake in a box. It is unusual to see Jewish business advertising on the scroll cover. The front of the cover is printed with "Tam Tov Caterers: Specialists in Parties on Platters: Buffet Style, 4723 Church Ave. Brooklyn, N.Y. HY 3-4167 (their telephone number--confirmed in 1957 Brooklyn Telephone Directory!). The scroll has a very delicate silk cover that has been sewn on. Due to its age, some fraying on the edges of the fabric is evident. The handles of the scroll are blue painted wood. The scroll measures approximately 6" x 2" x 1" in size. It comes in the original silver metallic finish cardboard box. The box shows wear, especially around the corners
