Description
Fine glazed stoneware vase with incised decoration under a thick brown glaze made by Per Linneman-Schmidt at the Palhus Studio in Denmark. Marked with his initials PLS-20 circa 1950s or 60s. Mint condition. 4 1/8" high; 3 1/2" in diameter. Schmidt (b.1912) and his wife Annelise, established a studio in Taastrup in 1948 producing very fine ceramics in simple glazes adapted from Japanese potters.
