    Description

    Sculptural organic shape 1960s Danish ceramic bowl by Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) made for Rorstrand Studio in Sweden. Beautiful variegated brown to olive green hare's fur glaze. Excellent potting, very pleasing shape, in excellent condition. Has an original line covered with glaze at the top rim (see 2 last photos), which the Rorstrand quality control did not consider a flaw as the piece is marked as a factory first on the bottom with letter R and three crowns for the Rorstrand Studio, GN for Gunnar Nylund, SWEDEN and US as the name of the model. Length 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm), height 1 7/8 inches (4.8 cm).
