  • Model: 29A
  • Brand: ALTEC

  • Condition: Offering a very rare Altec 165A Lipstick 'Tube' microphone. It has some signs of wear but nothing approaching abuse or neglect. It comes as shown with it's 29A Capsule & 6-PIN Cannon Plug and the 166A attachment ('Lipstick' MIC CLIP). It is fully functional. We do have the 525A with which we tested it but we are waiting to sell it until we are done with testing several other microphones we are listing from the same estate. We will probably be pairing one of the 525As with another 165A we will be selling which has it's chrome pop-screen. Please inquire if interested in the 165A complete with Pop-screen. Also, for those generally interested mics including about 40 Shure and several other brands (Audio-Technica, B&O (Fentone), AKG, some quite rare), please inquire. All of these mics spent their here in Southern California where the low humidity and moderate seasonal fluctuation tend to be more forgiving to audio gear than other more weather-volatile regions of the United States.
