late nineteenth – very early twentieth century .800 solid silver Victorian oval sash belt buckle with a gilt finish and a row of Persian turquoise around the rim

this is an antique solid silver sash buckle that has been worn. It has light wear consistent with gentle, normal use; the finish has the soft glow of 800 gilt silver; the settings are natural turquoise with no loose, missing or replaced stones; the prongs move up and down smoothly.
