Berggren Tach Sa Mycket Swedish Folk Art Ceramic Tile Walnut Frame Wall Plaque

Description

This is a vintage Swedish (Berggren) ceramic wall plaque set in a round hardwood (Walnut) frame. The colorful traditional design was hand screened and then fired onto the tile surface, with the saying: Tack sa mycket (Thanks so much).
The tile measures approximately 6" in diameter and is in pristine condition.
Comes from a smoke free environment
Overall dimensions, with the nicely finished walnut frame, is ca. 10" in diameter by 7/8" thick. There is a
2x2”  piece of paper with pertinent information (back of the plaque), and a hole for hanging it on the wall.
Probably dates to the 1950s. Please refer to photos for quality and condition.
