Listed for sale are Dell PERC H330/HBA330 mini monolithic IT mode HBA SAS-3 controller cards for 13th generation Dell PowerEdge servers. They have been flashed Dell IT mode firmware equivalent to Avago / LSI 9300-8i IT (Initiator Target) firmware version P16 (specifically 16.00.08.00). They also include the LSI/Avago MPTSAS3 BIOS ROM version 08.37.00.00 and UEFI 18.00.00.00.
This is a Dell PowerEdge 13th generation "mini monolithic" card, specifically designed for DELL 13th Gen SERVERS ONLY. THIS IS NOT A NORMAL PCIe CARD and will NOT FIT REGULAR PCIe SLOTS. This card works with Dell PowerEdge servers like: R430, R530, R630, R730, R730XD
LSI Avago IT mode firmware version P16 (16.00.08.00)
MPTSAS3 BIOS ROM flashed version 08.37.00.00
MPTSAS3 UEFI ROM flashed version 18.00.00.00
These are based on the LSI SAS3008 SAS controller chipset and support PCI-E 3.0 specifications with x8 lanes, SAS-3 speeds (12Gbps), and ideally suited for using with SAS-3 SSDs.
These cards are fully tested in my DELL R630 server with 8x SSDs running ZFS on Linux (ZoL), but this setup is also ideal for other ZFS setups, FreeNAS, unRAID, Proxmox VE, etc. I have fully tested them using all 12 SAS HDD slots.
