Extremely rare, second known or reported 1¾"H x 8" dia. crimped & ruffled Brockwitz radium marigold carnival glass bowl in the elusive Sungold Floral pattern. In overall excellent, lightly used condition with some factory-typical base grinding roughness, one strange air bubble actually trapped within the collar base that refracts light like a heat check -- but isn't -- and some finish roughness on one top ruffle, all shown. The only other known example sold Nov. 28, 2020 at the Matthew Wroda, Westfield, NY auction of the Elizabeth "Betty" Doody of Melbourne Australia collection for 0. A picture of this bowl can be seen in the Thistlewood Carnival Glass Worldwide website under Brockwitz patterns, and is known as Sungold Floral.
