Item: Porsgrund "Farmers Rose" Large Scalloped Serving Platter. This is a s
ingle classic Porsgrund Norway "FARMER'S ROSE" platter. Farmer's Rose is among the most traditional Norwegian collections of china tableware. It is made of high-fired feldspar porcelain in a white clear glossy glaze. The serving platter has a scalloped gold trim edge and a pattern that gives associations to folkloric Norwegian rosemaling decoration. Its coloring is in red, blue, and yellows on a white background. Very suitable for formal or informal dinnerware.
Measurements: The serving platter measures approximately
14 5/8" long and 9 5/8" across.
Condition: Pre-owned with little use. No chips, cracks, or signs of repair. Bright clear and shiny. Gold edging is super and tray/platter presents with little to no use.
