Remark: Engines with AFM use a special camshaft, a high-volume oil pump, and a pressure relief valve in the oil pan. AFM lifters fail when feed oil to the lifter is low or mistimed. GM has released an updated VLOM (Valve Lifter Oil Manifold) # 12571609 to help address this problem. Install new VLOM is highly recommended. Anything that affects oil pressure to the AFM lifters will cause AFM lifter failures: includes failed oil pump, restricted oil pickup, leaking cam retainer plate or anything that reduces oil flow to the VLOM. Oil pressure alone is not a good indicator.

The hydraulic lifter in a car's engine uses oil pressure to adjust a plunger and take up all the clearance in the valve train. This helps to ensure less engine noise and longer reliability, due to less wear and tear. Hydraulic lifters can begin to fail through normal use of a vehicle. After several years of running the engine of your vehicle, the hydraulic lifters within the valves can become laden with sludge, and other contaminants in the valve, that they start to wear out. New hydraulic lifters can make a tremendous difference in the way that a vehicle runs as well as how the engine sounds. The head gasket is the key component of the engine. It is compressed between the engine block and the cylinder head. The head gasket seals in the internal combustion process to make sure maximum compression is achieved and also keeps coolant and oil from mixing together as the two fluids travel from the engine block to the cylinder head. Therefore the cylinder head gasket, and lifters are an important part of your engine. They should always be in perfect condition and should be maintained properly. So, if you notice that this part is showing signs of excessive wear, have them replaced immediately. Please contact us for a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and return shipping address. Do not return items without and RMA number or the package will be refused and returned to you at your expense.
Return item must be well packed in original manufacturer’s packing and contain everything that was originally provided such as packing materials, hardware, manuals, protective wrap/caps, instruction, etc.
Be sure to write down the package tracking number. If your return is lost or damaged during shipping, we cannot refund you because the item cannot be resold or returned to our supplier. You will have to submit a claim directly to your shipping company requesting compensation.

Piston rings, main bearings, rod bearings cannot be returned if the manufacturer’s seal, or plastic shrink wrapped has been opened. There is no-exceptions policy ensures the quality of the components you receive.

This Limited Warranty does not cover labor, damaged from accidents, alterations, misuse or modifications not intended by the manufacture, and other expenses such as towing loading fluids, oils or car rentals.
All warranty clams must be pre-authorized and returned prepaid to Mizumo Auto for inspection and approval.
No exchanges will be made for any product that has been damaged, misused or improper installed. We always recommend professional installation of our products.
