Description

A handcrafted large wooden mezuzah with parchment.
Case made of wood, finish in dark mahogany color.
Decorated with applied a cast aluminum letter "Shin"
and inserted metal ornaments.
Parchment compartment with threaded brass stopper.
Removable steel pin located underside to prevent unscrewing
brass stopper, when mezuzah has attached
to the door frame or other surface.

Mezuzah comes with Scroll/Parchment/Klaf.
No maker and country of origin marks.
The mezuzah case probably
made in the United States, ca1920s.-1940s.
