Handmade Native American Plains style stone-headed club...made and being sold for display purposes only! I purchased this handmade Native American Plains style club back in the mid 1990's at the Mohican Jamboree, near Loudonville, Ohio. It was made by a Native American gentleman who told me he was from the Sioux tribe. He said it was an example of the type of hunting club that was used to finish off a wounded buffalo, deer, etc, during a hunt. The shaft of the club is 23" long, It is wrapped and hand stitched with rawhide. It is also decorated with bead work and genuine horsehair. (see pictures). The head of the club is made of stone, is approximately 6 1/2 inches long and adds another 2 inches to the length of the club. Total item length is approximately 25 ". PLEASE NOTE:: Both ends of the stone head are chipped...One end more so, than the other, (please see pictures) This piece still looks great displayed on a wall, and will certainly accentuate any Native American or Western theme. FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the lower 48. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. NOTE: Because of slower shipping time, due to Covid...I cannot/will not be held responsible if this item arrives later than expected. Thanks for looking!
