    Description

    JIE GANTOFTA SWEDEN Fish Platter from the 1960s.
    Marking on bottom identifies JIE and #89.
    This fine mid century art pottery is large and heavy, has cross hatched carving and is glazed with a blue matte glaze with navy, cobalt blue and yellows. It has a white banding around the top edges.
    Platter is 15-3/4” long and about 6” at widest point.
    Plate is in good condition. It has been used but the expected wear does not detract. Please note scratches on base, a few dings on underside, and a couple of nicks around the edge and at tip of fish. Please see pictures.
