Judy Peterson FanTaminals Wooden Winged HEI Dragon Puzzle 6 Pieces

For decades, my sister, Patty, went to craft fairs and bought some of the prettiest, most unusual, and/or cutest samples of artisan craftsmanship. This is one of them.
This winged HEI dragon is made from an original design by Judy Peterson, the artist behind the FanTaminals pieces.
Fantaminals creatures are free-standing, interlocking jigsaw puzzles and this is, in my opinion a puzzle of "simple" complexity with only 6 pieces.
The puzzle pieces are cut using a scroll saw, stained and oiled.
These puzzles are heirloom quality pieces
and any one of them will be a unique and treasured addition to any dragon or ‘puzzle’ collection.
Assembled, the dragon is 6 1/2" long, 4 1/2" high, and 1" deep.
*When we take measurements, they are always at the highest, widest, or deepest point. And, please, mentally add a word or phrase like "about", "approximately", or "close to" in front of the measurement. We try to measure down to 1/16", but sometimes it just doesn't work!
Condition: very good used condition
This dragon has been displayed and the back of the dragon appears to be lighter than the front due to exposure to light.
Looking at that side alone, it doesn’t appear to be ‘faded’ but there is a variation in color between the back and front and I want you to be aware of this.
This beautiful dragon is otherwise in excellent condition.
We
know
our auctions seem to start high, but we think that starting an auction low and then putting a reserve on our items is a waste of time and effort for both seller
and
buyer.

The postage on some of our items, particularly the fragile ones, may seem high. We've had quite a few
very
bad experiences with USPS lately...namely, we've discovered the workers are capable of breaking
anything
. So, our packing may seem a bit like overkill, but we assume that if you bid on something or did the "Buy it Now" thing, you'd like to see it arrive in one piece.
International buyers, we have some caveats here:
Please, PLEASE consider the international postage costs BEFORE you bid. As much as we love selling internationally, we have to admit that the costs are outrageous.
IF we can possibly send your item First Class International Package, we will do so. That is the cheapest way for us to ship internationally. There is no such thing as international economy/parcel post/parcel select.
Please also have patience. The time frame for items traveling between the U.S. and other countries is amazingly slow. Items going to Australia and Germany seem to take the longest, for some strange reason.
And, finally, I'm afraid I don't have the brain capacity to remember what can go where. Most countries have restrictions on what can be imported. Before you bid on something, please make sure your country's regulations will accept it. Duties, customs costs, etc. are the buyer's responsibility.
Returns:
The
ONLY
reason for a return which we will accept is that the item was not as described.
We are very, very careful when writing the descriptions and try hard to find any little thing that is wrong with an item so that the buyer doesn’t get any disappointing surprises.
