    Description

    This is my used LSI 9400-16i HBA card. Well on the card it does print Avago. But Avago brought LSI, then Avago brought by Broadcom. So now it is Broadcom 9400-16i. But generally, I just call it LSI 9400-16i.
    It has 4 Mini-SAS SFF-8643 ports. Without connect to backpanel it can connect up to 16 SAS or SATA hard drive. Or up to 4 U2/M2 NVME hard drive. With backpanel then it can support lots of more hard drvie.
    For who want it to connect to NVME hard drive, you do need special cable called U2 enable cable. I do have one on sale which is the cable I used. Other cable does not work. If you want to use M2 NVME hard drive, you need to get a convert card to change it to U2.
    That's all. For someone purchase this from me before, this is my second card, also my last one.
