This mezuzah was created by John Wind, Maximal Art. I have seen others, this is a particularly pretty one. It looks like it is gold plated over brass? the design is beneath Lucite and probably set in resin. There are crystals that line the inside of the outline of the violin. Stamped in back 5 inches long 103 grams instrument is strung with 4 strings These are relatively hard to come by. The artist is well-known and designed a similar piece for The National Museum of American Jewish History What a lovely gift for a new homeowner.

I almost always insure anything that costs over 0 and I pack very securely which adds weight to the package. Cost of insurance is included in the shipping price of this item.
INTERNATIONAL AND CANADIAN BUYERS
: I quote only the price to ship within the Continental USA. If you live outside those borders, please contact me for the price of shipping to your part of the World. I cannot know the import laws, what can and cannot be imported into all Countries – you are responsible to know the laws of yours. You are entirely responsible for any and all Customs charges. I usually ship First Class International with Registered attached when shipping out of the USA. That costs the price of the package to mail PLUS the .75 fee to register it. You may choose another method but whatever method you choose must include some kind of protection for us both. Items that cost more than 0 will be shipped in a manner in which they can be insured and expect that will be expensive.
We do not make money on shipping, we just try to cover you as well as ourselves. Some items will require insurance and some will go registered mail. Remember, we lose a package, you get your money back and we loose the item as well as the price of what it would bring on auction. I always combine shipping for multiple items.
