This is an upper elementary to high school student quality microscope from National Geographic with tools, slides, specimen vials, labels, test tube, and magnifying glass, and a hard yellow plastic case. The range is 100X to 1200X with good optics.
The light source can be either a battery powered light (uses 2 AA batteries - not included) or for more options, this can be taken into the field and lighted by using the mirror option.
The microscope has a metal frame and in in excellent condition. The optics work well. The adjustments are smooth. The specimen vials, tools, slides, and the interior of the box are pristine and ready for use. The hard case is in good condition with the exception of one latch missing.  The other latch works perfectly and holds the case together well.  Close to perfect condition and perfect for kids to have fun with real science.
