It is made of stainless steel, created in France. You can place it in its stand in a large dish or container or use the hook on the rim to anchor it to your pot or deep dish. It is 8 inches in diameter and the unused wooden masher is approx. 11 inches long.
It's simple to use. Just put the food in the net/sieve and use the masher/plunger to push the food through the holes, use a circular motion for more efficiency.
