Vintage Porsgrund Porcelain Art Tile Norwegian Design: Jan Harr Handverks Studio Norway. 2 Framed tiles.
Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Both are beautifully framed ceramic tile made by Porsgrund of Norway with a mountain lake scene, and forest screen designed by Jan Harr. In the foreground the landscapes are carpeted with Spring or Summer wildflowers in gorgeous pastel colors.
The reverse is stamped Porsgrund, Norway Design: Jan Harr (the signature in script).

Porsgrunn Porcelain (Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik abbreviated PP), is a porcelain latware company in Porsgrunn, in Telemark county, Norway.
The factory was founded in 1885 and has produced designs by Norwegian artists.
Jan Harr was educated at SHKS (1964-66), at Hadeland Glassworks (1967) and at the State Art Academy (1970-73). Debuted in the Young Artists' Society in 1967. He is considered as a master of a new lyrical nature experience.
