    Chip Card / EMV / NFC Compatible
    A light, portable card acceptance machine for businesses. The Poynt 5 system accepts all kinds of payments, including EMV chip cards, magnetic stripe cards, contactless payments, EBT cards, gift cards, and PIN on glass payments.
    Poynt is a touchscreen debit and credit card reader. One side has a 7” touchscreen for the user while the other side has a 4.3” customer-facing touchscreen that can be signed to complete transactions. The Poynt credit card reader provides a secure and reliable processor; wi-fi, Ethernet, and 3G cellular technology; built-in thermal printer; built-in barcode and QR code scanner; and a long-lasting battery. This reader can also support value added applications such as loyalty and gift cards.
    A merchant processing account is necessary to use with this device.  A processing account can be obtained through an agent, your bank, or online.
    A special note about DEBIT CARDS:
    This terminal will accept debit cards without a PIN.  If you want to accept debit cards with a PIN, click on the terminal product pulldown menu to find your desired encryption type. If you do not see it listed, please contact us and we will help you.
