    Description

This auction is for a beautiful rare rich blue Danish midcentury modern (actually it predates this era 1930s to 1940s) Studio Handcrafted Holbaek Denmark pottery pitcher vase as shown in the pictures taken with and without flash. It has a wonderful design and a beautiful rich deep blue glaze. The overall condition is nice for its age, it does show some wear and surface marks/scratches (what I call rubs mostly) but nothing significant no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The bottom is marked: HOLBAEK Denmark. This piece measures a little over 6 1/2 inches tall by around 5 1/4 inches widest. The shape and form are just wonderful. It would look great in anyone’s Scandinavian or Danish midcentury modern pottery collection. Please review all pictures carefully as they constitute part of the description.
