Description
This bowl was hand painted in Hong Kong.  The dragon and the phoenix are chasing the golden pearl.  It is the symbol of almost everything that is good...  There are other mythical creatures around the rim...The bowl is cased in brass...it says on the bottom that it is an ash tray...I do not think that it was ever used for this purpose.  Beautiful bright reds and cobalt blue on white background.  7.75" diameter.
Preloved...but this hand painted bowl from Hong Kong looks  perfect to me.
