Rose Madder (Hue) - Handmade Oil Paint - 40ml

Description

Rose Madder is a beautiful transparent natural dye color that can range from a ruby red to a slightly pinkish red. Very popular during the renaissance. The issue with the genuine color is that it is not lightfast, and in modern times is not offered by many suppliers.
My imitation is completely lightfast and is leaning in the pinkish red direction. Deep violet red out of the tube, turns into a hot pink when thinned/ tinted with white.
