Description

This ceramic Dish was designed for Upsala Ekeby by Anna-Lisa Thomson (1905-1952). This Dish is from a series known as Spectra that was in production from 1951-1965.
This Spectra Dish depicts varied forms of sea life.
The sea life is textured and slightly raised from the surface. A high gloss glaze is applied. The background is a grey matte glaze. The back of this dish is dark rich blue.
The dimensions for this Spectra Dish are:   Length 23.5 cm. (9.25")  Width 15.5 cm (6.25 ") Height  4 cm. (1.75") at the ends and 2 cm. (.75") in the middle.  Weight 660 gm. (1 lb 7 oz.)
The identifying marks on the base are: UE  1071   A.L.T. (Anna-Lisa Thomson)
This Spectra Dish is in very good vintage condition.
