Very Rare 1911 Westmoreland Amethyst Carnival Glass Hdld Low Compote/Nappy Bowl

Rare! Rare!! Antique 1911 Westmoreland Amethyst carnival glass handled low compote/nappy. The bowl has a file/prism design on the exterior and a sawtooth rim. This rare piece can be found on the Carnival Glass Heaven website and also in the 10th edition of Edwards and Carlisle's Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass on page 204. This compote was also made in marigold and teal. These are also rarely found. This beautiful compote has no damage, bubbles or straw marks that might be detected are typical in glass from this era.  The compote is 7 1/8" measuring across the handles. It measures only 2 3/8" tall at the rim and 3 1/4" tall to the top of the handles. The base diameter is 2 5/8".
