vintage santa fe railroad belt buckle

Tonight we are listing for sale another item from my Grandfathers estate and what we have here is an old
BELT BUCKLE ISSUED BY THE SANTA FE RAILROAD AS A SAFETY AWARD
.......
I honestly don't know when the buckle was issued, but it was my Grandfathers so I assume it has some age to it.....The only thing I can tell you is that it is
very heavy and in great shape.......
Around the outside edge are railroad tracks, and the field contains a locomotive with the
SANTA FE LOGO
.....and on the rear is a little plaque that states
SAFETY AWARD
........
WHETHER THIS PIECE IS TO BE WORN OR JUST DISPLAYED,
THE WINNING BIDDER WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS BADBOY
