    Description

    Vintage repousse button features the Biblical scene of Adam & Eve with the tree and the serpent. In the section above the serpent's head, there is a maker's mark, very faint. It's very difficult to make out, even with a loupe, but appears to consist of __ & __ (perhaps R & S) and underneath those initials—and easier to see—is NY. The button measures 16/16”. Condition is excellent. A rare find!
