YInMn Blue (Hue) - Handmade Oil Paint - 37ml

YInMn blue is one of the most recent pigments to be discovered by P
rofessor Mas Subramanian and his graduate student, Andrew E. Smith, at Oregon State University in 2009
and is still not very commercially available yet. This color can be found in pigment or paint form from a few suppliers but it is very expensive and like I mentioned- hard to find.
YInMn blue is an opaque blue that sits somewhere between an ultramarine blue and cobalt blue in terms of hue. My imitation is a little less opaque than the genuine color, but it is also more opaque than ultramarine blue.
All of my colors are handmade without additives. No driers, fillers, brighteners etc. Just pigment and oil.
